Montana State University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Family Financial Planning beginning August 2027. The position provides leadership for MSU’s graduate Family Financial Planning program and contributes to teaching, research, and student mentorship within Human Development and Family Science.
The graduate program is a CFP Board Registered Program, and coursework at the undergraduate and graduate levels supports preparation for the Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®) credential. Housed within HDFS, financial planning at MSU brings a distinctive family-centered perspective to understanding financial decision-making and well-being.
This position begins August 2027 and is an academic year tenure-track appointment (50% Teaching, 40% Research, and 10% Service) with potential for summer employment.
